This is a cute cause and effect app that helps kids move a player on the screen by tapping on where you want to go. It will sometimes label items your guy went to or show a cute animation with music. Occupational Therapists can work on visual discrimination and pre-computer mouse skills.

There are a lot of apps the practice times tables. What I like about this one is it works on each set of facts one at a time. So for example, you only work on all problems times 2. When you complete the problem it puts it in numerical order with the other problems to help students see what they have done so far and note any patterns.

This to do list is great for kids who have used simpler to do lists (like reminders) and is ready to have more options. Obviously it is only as good as the amount of information the student puts in. What I like about it is you can select a task and share it. It sends the task via email and if the person also has the app, they can add it to their list. Great for students who do group work!

ABC Ninja by Innovative Mobile Apps
It can be difficult to find game based early childhood apps that you can use with older students. ABC ninja incorporates the style of fruit ninja where you slice letters or letter sounds. Use the app for drilling letter identification or for Occupational Therapists, work on swiping, visual discrimination, and processing speed.
